Added some banners

Well, that stupid hurricane came by and.. well.. it didnt do anything to Orlando. Overall it was a pretty sweet week since I got to play a lot of Shadow of the Colossus, that game is an amazing experience anyway you look at it :D

Over at the links section I put some banners for your linkage pleasure, so pleeease feel free to use them!

Also, on the RPGamer fanart contest I ended up in 6th place! Thank you very much to all that voted! The next round is sometime next month, I will let you know exactly when it is by the time the deadline nears

RPGamer

Well, you might remember the Breath of Fire IV illustration I posted last week, it was done for the current fanart contest RPGamer is hosting and the public voting stage has begun!

Go here to vote!

Please go and decide who deserves victory on your own judgment, Im sick of art contests being some sort of "let see how many people I can tell to vote for me" shits.

On another note, Calvins Demo Reel is now up at the CG Talk forums, why not drop him a line? ;)

Calvin Barreto

My friend and colleague Calvin Barreto, excellent 3D Animator has posted up a new Demo Reel!

Go here to see it!

From here I wanna congratulate him and encourage anybody in the game business to try to hire him since he is currently looking for work (so yeah, same as me, haha)

Great job Cal, your work ethics have always been an inspiration

Reworked Designs

From now on I'm trying to update the site and the gallery at least twice a week ... its gonna be a hard task but I think we will all benefit from it (probably me more than you, but eh).

I took out the Rise to Honor concepts I had because I want to re-do one of the concepts there and also because I colored a couple of them. Heres hows the fighting Orc came out for instance:

You can also see the badass Dwarf with a kilt, I think its a match made in kilt heaven :D

Also, me and some friends are doing some conceptual ideas for yet another indy game, so I put these concepts together. Different style for me but variety is the key to success

Oh, and Jack Thompson is an insane, insane man, I mean what the hell?

Keep'em coming

Allright so the deadline for the Fanart contest thats taking place at RPGamer was last night at midnight and in true Raging Spaniard fashion I finished my piece about an hour before that. Piblic voting will commence next week, so I will let you guys know when the time to strike is near.

For now though, heres the piece in itself. Its based on the first 5 minutes of Breath of Fire IV, a RPG for the PS1 that I recently just picked up:

"Next Gen"

Ive been seeing all the videos that EA has for their next generation games and.. well apparently next is gonna be all about adding sweat, mud and shinier objects to the mix. That is lame as shit.

Dont get me wrong, I'll still buy the systems but my prime money is gonna be on the Revolution, at least that one offers some innovation.

New look!

Well, I lost my internet connection for a while and not until today did I manage to get it back, so its been a long week ... at least Ive kept busy though! After getting some critiques on the look of the page me and Rahul got together (online, haha) and settled on the new look which I think works a lot better (and better is sexy). Oh btw if the new look doesnt work for you, try refreshing the page ;P

Also, since I was digging the coloring style with the flat tones and all I decided to color the Ten-Ten redesign in the same fashion, I think it works very well so I will be coloring various things in the Concept gallery in the coming weeks.

Oh yeah, if anybody wants to see the new Raging Spaniard drawing on its own, click here

I am also keeping busy with a new art test with a games company, but I dont think it would be wise to spread that art around ;)
