To keep it short, its a huge art contest ... might be the biggest of its kind and yes, I'm gonna get my ass kicked, but fuck it! I need 'folio pieces anyways.

Pretty much its a character driven contest, final submission will be a winning pose illustration, a concept sheet and a model sheet.

Me and Michelle watched this the other day (she's blogged about this as well) and we REALLY enjoyed it, great movie. Its by the same crew that made Perfect Blue, so if you've watched them, you know what to expect.

What I really want to mention is the soundtrack though, Susumu Hirasawa is a total badass composer and I was really impressed, if you can find the OST somewhere or download it, I'd totally recommend it. Some of the tracks are standard fare since any movie requires you to compose themes that are for tense situations, or just eerie compositions to go the cinematic flow, but some tracks, specially the first two and last two are were this guys just goes apeshit and makes for some enjoyable stuff.
